The Guardamar Tourist Office has been awarded the prestigious ‘Q for Tourist Quality’, a recognition granted by the Spanish Institute for Tourist Quality (ICTE) which certifies the municipality’s commitment to excellence in tourist services and attention.

This certification has been obtained after passing a strict audit that verifies compliance with the international standard UNE-ISO 14785:2015. It recognises the effort to offer the best service, commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

The Mayor of Guardamar, José Luis Sáez, received the recognition at the Q Night Gala, held as part of Fitur in the Crystal Gallery of the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid.

The Guardamar Tourist Office is located in the Engineer Mira House-Museum, an emblematic building dedicated to the figure of the illustrious engineer, his work and the history of the reforestation of the Guardamar Dunes. The Q for Quality is thus added to the SICTED quality distinction and becomes a further motivation to continue improving day by day and offer visitors an unforgettable experience.
