Wednesday, 21st June
8 p.m. The town’s Fiesta Beauty Queens (Bellees in Valencian) are picked up at their home’s door step.
9.30 p.m. INAUGURATION OF THE BONFIRE
Then, Fiesta Beauty Queens exaltation and music until midnight.
Thursday, 22nd June
10.30 p.m. COSTUME PARTY (Wild West theme)
Dinner (bring your own food). Then, DJ music.
Friday, 23rd June
11 p.m. LA NIT MÀGICA (Magic Night)
Night show where a large bonfire will be burnt and a legend about the night of Saint John will be performed. At the end, Fireworks and DJ music all night.
Location: La Roqueta Beach (end of the seafront promenade).
Saturday, 24th June (Saint John’s Day)
8 a.m. ‘DESPERTÀ’
Els Milotxes go to the Beauty Queen’s houses and throw firecrackers at their houses’ door steps to wake them up. Start at the Era de la Madaleneta parking.
2 p.m. ‘MASCLETÀ’ (big gunpowder throwing) at the Constitució Square (Town Hall).
8 p.m. SAINT JOHN’S MASS
Then, Flowers Offering to the Lady of the Rosary.
8.45 p.m. FIESTA BEAUTY QUEENS PARADE
1 a.m. ‘CREMÀ’ AND ‘BANYÀ’
The Bonfire is burnt and then ‘banyà’ and music.
